The RB3044 or Small Metal aviator sunglasses are the smallest in the trio of classic Ray Ban aviator shades, along with the RB3025 and RB3026.

As with the RB3026, the single biggest difference with the RB3025 is the size. RB3044s are specifically designed for small, narrow or long faces. Once you've decided to purchase a pair of aviator sunglasses, make sure you understand how the shades will fit on your face. We've talked to a few people who own these and the general consensus is that they're really small. Someone even called them "juvenile" shades. They're as small as the RB3026s are big. While the lens size is 52mm, the bridge measures 14mm and the temples measure 135mm. These sunglasses fit Lindsay Lohan just fine, so if you have a frame like hers then these shades are for you.

In terms of colours, RB3044s don't have as many options as the RB3025 but there is still more than the RB3026. Ray Ban currently has four colours for the RB3044, three of which include the G15 XLT lens; the benefits of which we've covered in the other two reviews (RB3025 and RB3026).

Since the RB3044 is essentially the same as the other two, we won't go into greater detail for this review. What you really need to understand is the difference in sizes and the range of colours available/unavailable. These sunglasses are of exceptional quality and for the price, they just can't be beat. There truly is no point in buying a knock off.
